HE
Governoilr,
Don Francifco Pifarro,
not regarding the fears and apprehen–
fions of
Atahualpa,
was elated in bis Hopes and Expeél:atiOns, by tho[e fa.
vours which good fortune had caíl: upon him; and refolving
to
follow and im–
prove his fücce[s, he judged it convenient and neceífary to tender an account
to
His Majeíl:y ofall matters, which unto that time,had occurred in
Pcru;
the which
Intemion being moved to
Almagro,
his Companion, and his Brothers,
it
was
~greed by them to difpatch

íhould carry with him the value of two hundred dioufand Pieces of Eighc in

che King, on accounc of che Ranfome of
Atahualpa;
