Sajsawaman
The most important monument of th pal o–
keswa in Cuzco in the fortress of thi

situated as a sort of Acropolis to the north of the
pópulation. The collection of enormous non–
i~ogenous
monoliths of the three walls presum s

the technicque of the builders of Tiawanaku
and Tampu. The Incas re-built this

structing the towers or cubes of isogenous blocks.

they belong, therefore,
to the same historical
period. On the upper part of these walls we
notice a section reconstructed by the Incas; here

Within the houses along Suecia Street and
